In our house, we're also making an effort to eat as much organically- and locally-grown food as possible. We've befriended some local farmers and I have to agree with you on the fact that the taste of certain foods is incredible, compared to what we find at the grocery store.

Hi Sanna,

I'd be interested to hear more about how the EU has made things worse from your perspective. For myself, I know that the British resist change, especially when it is imposed by their own government or 'worse', the EU. As such, I think the EU raises many important issues, often in the domain of environmental matters, that the British would be happy to ignore if they were left to themselves. Sometimes I am not proud of the attitude of my country of origin.

That was an interesting read for me, most of the time I see how being a member of the EU makes things worse. EU allows things that we didn't allow before we became members.

I doubt that organic farming will be the death of the carrot or anything else, as long as non-organic products are stopped at the same time. People will pay what it's worth of course so unjustified over prizes will not be the way to go.
